Updating your info in the rider app
It’s really important that we always have your correct contact details on file so we can reach you in an emergency or make sure a customer can contact you when you’re looking for their location.
That’s why you can update your contact information, vehicle type, map settings, and bank details directly in the rider app.
Contact Information and Vehicle Type
To update your phone number, email address, or vehicle type, complete the following steps:
Step 1. Click on the side bar menu, and then click on the section where you can see your name and rider ID.
Step 2: You’ll see your profile broken up into two sections. The first has your contact details, and the second has your vehicle type. Simply make changes from here!
Adjust your map settings so it’s tailored to your vehicle type. You can also choose to open your map in your preferred app. Follow these simple steps below!
Step 1: In your sidebar, go into ‘map settings’.
Step 2: Once you’re in ‘map settings’ you’ll see the heading ‘show maps routes for’. From there you’ll be able to pick which vehicle type you use. If you’re driving a car you can also pick options such as ‘avoid routes with tolls’.
When you use the app, you can choose which map provider you use. All you need to do is go back into the ‘settings’ and then click ‘open in maps’ from there you’ll be able pick from map apps such as Google Maps, Waze, and Apple Maps.
To update your bank details:
Step 1 – simply click on the side bar menu and click on the section where you can see your name and rider ID.
Step 2 – click on ‘Payment Information’
Remember that, unless you choose to cash out earlier, invoices are processed fortnightly on a Wednesday, so if you want your next payment to go to your new account you’ll need to update your details by Tuesday night.
