We are very excited to introduce you to Frances Skrokov, Deliveroo Australia’s Head of Rider Lifecycle!
1. What is your role at Deliveroo?
I manage the Rider Lifecycle team – it’s our responsibility to look after all the riders who partner with Deliveroo. This includes getting riders on board, providing support to riders when they’re working on the platform, setting up useful discounts for riders, sharing engaging content through the Roo Community and running events where we can speak to riders about the things that are most important to you.
2. What is your background?
I’ve worked at Deliveroo for just over 6 months. I come from a background in retail and consumer, having mainly worked in the UK and Europe.
3. What are some of your favourite aspects of working at Deliveroo?
I absolutely love the team I work with – everyone is really hard-working and is hugely caring about the riders who partner with us. They are very committed to delivering a great experience for riders. I always look forward to our rider events, as I love hearing about what you do and learning about the issues that are most important to you. Working with the riders on the Safety Advisory Panel has been a real highlight of my time at Deliveroo – it’s been so rewarding to hear about the safety issues that face riders everyday, and to work with the panel to set up initiatives that start to address them.
4. What are your go-to restaurants on the Deliveroo platform?
I love Thai Thani on Brunswick Street, pizza from Rita’s in Abbotsford, and you can’t beat a burger from 8bit.
5. Fun facts about Frances:
I’m from the UK and moved here last year with my husband and 2 year old daughter. I love cooking, and spend a lot of time on the weekends baking with my daughter.
