Today we’d like to introduce you to another member of our Rider Support team. Meet Luisa!
As a member of our Rider Support team, Luisa is responsible for assisting riders across Australia and implementing initiatives that will improve riders’ experiences with Deliveroo.
What is one project you’re excited about launching for riders in 2020?
I am very excited to implement initiatives that will help build a stronger relationship between restaurants and riders. Next year, my goal is to make our Editions sites more of a ‘hub’ for riders; I want to make Editions sites a great place for riders to take a quick break and to learn about the new things we’re doing.
What did you do before joining the Rider Support team at Deliveroo?
I am originally from Colombia and moved to Australia in 2017. I have a bachelor’s degree in business administration which I completed back home, and a masters degree in marketing which I completed at the RMIT University in Melbourne. Before arriving in Australia two and a half years ago, I used to work as an Administrative Assistant for a non profit organisation that helped kids living in poverty.
What is your favourite part about your role on the Rider Support team?
I enjoy getting to talk with riders from different cultures and most importantly, helping them with anything they need.
What are some fun facts about you?
When I finished my contract as an Administrative Assistant in Colombia, I worked part time as a singer! One of my best friends and I did a duet and played in restaurants. I am a sea-lover and I love travelling – especially doing road trips. I am also a foodie; to compensate for this, I try to have an active lifestyle that involves swimming, going to the gym, and most importantly DANCING (which I love to do).
