Vehicles and licenses
Deliveroo accepts applications from people with different vehicles such as bicycles, electric bicycles, scooters, motorcycles and cars. You can click here to apply!
We don’t rent out vehicles for riders to use for their deliveries, but we do have a partnership with scooter rental company Ridely in Melbourne and Sydney, which gives riders a discount on rentals. Read more about our partnership with Ridely.
We also have a partnership with e-bike rental company Bolt Bikes in Melbourne and Sydney, which gives riders a discount on rentals or accessories. Read more about our partnership with Bolt Bikes.
Yes! All applicants that intend to use a motorised vehicle to complete deliveries will need to provide us with a copy of a valid driver’s licence.
If you have a valid international licence, you are still eligible to ride with Deliveroo. You’ll need to provide a certified translation of your licence if it’s not in English.
You will be asked to upload these documents at the relevant stage of your application.
Remember that international driving permits and overseas license regulations vary depending on your visa type and state location.
