We're supporting Polished man to help end violence against children

Around the world, one child dies every five minutes as a result of violence.

 

This October, we’re working with non-profit organisation Polished Man to raise funds and awareness to end violence against children.

Deliveroo staff, stakeholders, and partners are coming together to support the cause, and we’d love riders to get involved too! 

All funds raised for Polished Man are channelled into trauma prevention and recovery programs for children who are at risk of or have experienced violence.

How is Deliveroo supporting the cause?

Polished Meal nail polish

We’ve invented our own Willy Wonka-style nail polish, inspired by the legendary Three Course Dinner Chewing Gum from the Roald Dahl classic. When licked by the wearer, the polish will taste like smokey BBQ rings with a side of onion rings, and blueberry pie sundae dessert to finish!

Customers in Melbourne and Sydney will be able to buy the nail polish on the Deliveroo app for $20, with all proceeds donated to Polished Man.

Rewarding fundraisers

We’ve also pledged $100,000 to reward the first 5,000 fundraisers who raise and donate $20 or more to Polished Man, by offering them $20 Deliveroo credit as a thank you.

How riders can get involved

We’d love to see you get involved and show your support for this great cause in your own community. You could organise a bake sale at your university or workplace, take part in a sponsored run, or encourage your friends and family to get behind the cause.
